Due to the versatility of the Beechcraft 1900D, EVAS Air has focused its concentration on four key areas required to ensure the longevity and cost-effectiveness of the Beechcraft 1900D. Our Hangar facilities are strategically located at Gander International Airport. This makes us a cost-effective option for U.S. and Canadian operators, and European-based operators.
We have developed several improvements to the Beechcraft 1900D’s Structural Inspection program. EVAS Air’s systems refine the efficiency and thorough completeness of ABC structural inspections. All findings from these inspections are reviewed, and the repair plans are developed with the focus on improving durability. Our in-house Aircraft Paint Booth has been designed specifically for the Beechcraft 1900D. Our extensive experience in aircraft stripping, painting, brand marking, and interior panel and upholstery refurbishment ensures a pristine outcome.
Our team has extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of the PT6A-67D engines including Heavy Maintenance Capabilities and has some of the most highly experienced and trained PT6 engineers and technicians in the industry. We have entered into an exclusive 10-year agreement with Pratt and Whitney, Canada to ensure we stay at the forefront of the industry’s technical expertise. EVAS Air works closely with Pratt and Whitney to analyze operating trends and procedures to enhance the economical lifecycle and optimal performance of these engines. Our in-house dedicated support team will work with you and your company to implement a robust and cost-effective Engine Management Program well into the future.
Our technical team has conducted extensive research into the common fault areas in the Beechcraft 1900D’s Electrical System. Our findings have resulted in the development of several Quality Assurance Bulletins (QABs) which have been used to build a preventative maintenance program. Each of these QAB’s consists of specialized inspections, wiring replacements, maintenance process changes, and best practices that formulate the preventative maintenance program.
We have partnered with GARMIN on the complete Avionics upgrade using the Garmin G950 NXi Avionics suite. Replacing the existing legacy gauges and equipment with a glass cockpit configuration ensures the Beechcraft 1900D is current with the advances in technology. Our team completes all installation work, configuration, testing, and certification to this system in-house. Our team will complete all works from ground to flight-ready, including Flight Crew and Maintenance Training. To support traditional Avionics platforms, we have established an exchange pool of Beechcraft 1900D legacy avionics, which, when combined with our in-house developed and approved repair capabilities, will ensure these systems can be supported for years to come.
